Title: REDSPro and Registry Specialist
Location: Red Angus Association of America headquarters in Commerce City, CO
Reports to: CEO and Office Manager
Start Date: Immediate full-time opening
Job Purpose: The REDSPro and Registry Specialist is a member of the Member Services Department. The department is responsible for maintaining all member data including memberships, accounts receivable, Red Angus magazine subscriptions, mailing lists, registrations, transfers, performance data, Total Herd Reporting calendar and RAAA Rules and Regulations, DNA results, ultrasound data, and herd expected progeny differences(EPDs). To execute these tasks one must learn the RAAA database(REDSPro). Includes answering questions from the membership and providing help with data submission and database functions via phone and email. Data submissions will be completed via transfer of data from paper, fax or electronic submission, into an excel-based real-time software portal.
Accurate and efficient in data entry and document preparation

Effective communication skills using various means including written, email and telephone
Proficient in Excel®
Working knowledge of Mac systems Self-motivated and customer service oriented
Ability to work in a team setting and individually Positive personality, highly motivated and flexible Beef cattle background preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer, execute and maintain the Red Angus Registry Review data for errors, correcting and checking output
Provide customer service for the entire RAAA membership and other stakeholders regarding issues and topics related to the Member Services Department
Maintain accurate records of complete and in-process work
Problem-solving concerning data entry and database management
Proficiency in the RAAA rules and regulations which govern the registry, DNA and other office procedures
Other responsibilities and projects based on skills as determined by the office manager and CEO
Appropriate Degree(s) and experience to carry out duties and responsibilities
Prefer B.S./B.A. in animal science or similar
